The Orangery @
Kensington Palace

Designed by Sir John Vanburgh for Queen Anne in 1704, The Orangery is a magnificent building with Corinthian columns, and Grinling Gibbons' woodcarvings as its most distinctive features.

The Orangery is situated adjacent to Kensington Palace, still a Royal residence, and lies on the western side of Kensington Gardens, one of London's most visited Royal Parks. We operate an all year round restaurant, which serves light lunches and specialises in the traditional service of afternoon teas.  The restaurant was reviewed in The London Restaurant Guide.

"The Orangery is the most amazing place for mid afternoon tea in the world" ... Frommer's Travel Guide.
